The wait is finally over! Popular Filipino fast food chain, Jollibee is finally opening its doors in Sunway Pyramid today (8 February)! Previously, a Facebook post by Malaysia Shopping Mall revealed that Jollibee will be opening at LG2.126, next to Seoul Garden at Sunway Pyramid.
Little did you know, this Jollibee outlet is not the first in Malaysia. Back in 2018, the fast food chain opened in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, receiving long queues of over 1,000 customers.
The Filipino chain restaurant is known for its signature Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti which isn’t your regular savoury dish. The Chickenjoy can be served with rice and gravy while the Jolly Spaghetti features a sweet tomato sauce topped with cheese. Doing it Filipino style!
Other food that you could try out on their menu are, cheesy Jolly sausage, cheesy Yumburger with fries, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw from as low as RM7! As for desserts, many were suggesting to try the chocolate sundae, as it had a very prominent vanilla flavour paired with the rich chocolate sauce.
